겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스, 제1회 재학생 유튜브 공모전 시상식 진행
겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스는 제1회 재학생 유튜브 공모전 시상식을 진행했다고 12일(금) 밝혔다. 유튜브 공모전 내용은 학교 홍보, 입시정보 제공, 학과 소개, 겐트대 생활 등을 담았으며 작년 10월부터 12월 말까지 누적 조회수가 높은 순서대로 시상하였다.
1위는 겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스 유튜브 동아리 G-ENT의 ‘겐트, 이동기 그리고 푸른 수염의 스터디 메이트’가 수상하여 상금 100만원의 주인공이 되었다. 2위는 신흥주 학생의 ‘BAND OF GUGC’가 수상했으며, 공동 3위는 배유빈 학생의 ‘Ugent Life’와 Allez unnie팀의 ‘겐곰이를 찾아서’가 수상하였다.
유튜브 공모전에서 1위를 한 김태윤 학생은 “G-ENT 동아리 멤버들과 영상을 제작한 것이 대학 생활의 소중한 추억이 되었다”며 “이런 기회를 제공해준 겐트대학교에 감사하다.”고 밝혔다.
한태준 겐트대학교 총장은“올해 유튜브 공모전이 최초로 시행되었는데 영상 퀄리티가 높아서 놀랬다”며 “영상 속에 겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스의 생활이 고스란히 녹아든 점이 인상 깊었다”고 말했다.

“Ghent University Global Campus hosts the 1st student YouTube contest award ceremony”
The 1st student YouTube contest award ceremony took place on Friday, the 12th, according to an announcement released by Ghent University Global Campus. The YouTube competition featured material on the school, tests for admission, department introductions, and life at Ghent University. Prizes were awarded based on the order in which the videos received the most cumulative views between October and December of the previous year.
The winner of first place, "Ghent, Lee Dong-gi and Bluebeard's Study Mate,” from the G-ENT YouTube club at the Ghent University Global Campus, was awarded a one million-won prize. Second place went to Shin Hee-ju's "BAND OF GUGC,” third place went to Yu-bin Bae's "Ugent Life,” and the Allez unnie team's "Finding Gengom.”
"Making videos with G-ENT club members became a priceless memory of my college life,” stated student Kim Tae-yoon, who won the YouTube contest. "I am grateful to Ghent University for providing me with this opportunity,” he added.
"This year's YouTube contest was conducted for the first time, and I was surprised by the high quality of the video," stated Han Tae-jun, president of Ghent University. The daily life at Ghent University's Global Campus shown in the film was really impressive to me.
