2025 GUGC 유튜브 공모전 성료...다양하고 창의적인 작품들 선보여
지난 12일, 겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스가 2025 GUGC 유튜브 쇼츠 공모전 결과를 발표했다. 이번 공모전은 지난 9월 8일부터 약 2개월 동안 진행됐으며, 수십점의 작품이 제출되어 선의의 경쟁을 펼쳤다.
특히 이번 공모전은 최근 숏폼 콘텐츠의 사회적 유행을 반영해 참가자들이 보다 쉽고 재미있게 참여할 수 있도록 유튜브 쇼츠 형식으로 출품하도록 했다. 이를 통해 학생들의 창의적인 아이디어와 표현력을 최대한 끌어낼 수 있었다.
3차 심사까지 치열한 경쟁을 거친 끝에 영예의 1위는 △유은세 학생의 “겐트를 가다, 겐트로 통하다!”, 2위는 △김사랑 학생의 “10억 VS 겐트대”, △3위는 김민석 학생의 “겐트대 오면 볼 수 있는 오빠들”, 공동 4위는 △ Lotte Vercruijsse의 “GUGC In A Nutshell”, △ 한시은 학생의 “(전)학생회장이 낋여주는 캠퍼스투어”로 총 5작품이 우수작으로 선정됐다.
유은세 학생(2학년)은 "GUGC만의 강점이 무엇일지를 고민하고 입학을 희망하는 분들을 위해 영상을 제작했다"며 "이번 공모전을 준비해주신 학교 관계자분들께 감사드리고 앞으로도 다양하고 의미있는 기회를 제공해주시길 바란다"고 말했다.
한태준 총장은 “이번 공모전에 학생들이 보여준 훌륭한 아이디어와 창의력에 놀랐다”며 “‘Dare to Think와 ’’Aim Higher’라는 슬로건처럼 앞으로 더 많은 경험을 쌓고 계속 발전해 나가길 바란다”고 말했다.

2025 GUGC YouTube Contest Concludes Successfully... Showcasing Diverse and Creative Works
On the 12th, Ghent University Global Campus announced the results of the 2025 GUGC YouTube Shorts Contest. The contest was held for about two months starting from September 8, and dozens of entries were submitted, leading to fair and active competition.
In particular, this contest reflected the social trend of short-form content and encouraged participants to join more easily and enjoyably by requiring submissions in the YouTube Shorts format. Through this, students were able to fully showcase their creative ideas and expressive abilities.
After fierce competition through three rounds of screening, the winners were announced as follows:
1st place: Eunsse Yoo – “겐트를 가다, 겐트로 통하다!”
2nd place: Sarang Kim – “10억 VS 겐트대”
3rd place: Minseok Kim – “겐트대 오면 볼 수 있는 오빠들”
Joint 4th place: Lotte Vercruijsse – “GUGC In A Nutshell”, Sieun Han – “(전)학생회장이 낋여주는 캠퍼스투어”
Eunsse Yoo(Second-year student) said, “I thought about what makes GUGC special and created a video for those who wish to join our campus. I would like to thank the school officials for organizing this contest and hope that such diverse and meaningful opportunities will continue to be offered in the future.”
Prof. Dr. Taejun Han, Campus President said, “I was amazed by the students’ outstanding ideas and creativity shown in this contest. As our slogans ‘Dare to Think’ and ‘Aim Higher’ suggest, I hope they continue to gain experience and keep developing themselves.”
